One Direction Concert Baby Born!

There was only One Direction for an expectant mum who went into labour at a 1D gig - and that was to the hospital.

Sarah Turnbull was 39 weeks pregnant when she attended the boy band's concert at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and she wasn't expecting to give birth for another week.

However as the teen heart throbs started their last song she thought she was having a small accident.

Little did she know that her waters had broken at the start of the concert and her baby boy was enjoying himself so much that he decided to make his entrance into the world.

Sarah finally realised what was going on during the fireworks finale when One Direction’s hit ‘Best Song Ever’ was playing when she popped to the loo.

Six hours later she gave birth to Thomas Setterfield, exactly one week earlier than her due date, in the early hours of May 29 after the gig the night before.

Sarah and her partner Peter, 29, who works in the building industry, even considered naming him Harry after her daughter, seven-year-old Emma’s favourite 1D member Harry Styles, but finally settled on Thomas after Peter’s grandad.

Admin Assistant Sarah said: “I was determined to go to the concert even though I was heavily pregnant. I bought the tickets over a year ago for my little girl’s birthday and I wasn’t even expecting then.

“Emma was desperate to go and when I surprised her she was over the moon as they are her favourite band.

“To be honest, I admit that I quite like One Direction but obviously went because she is obsessed with them.

“I felt fine on the day and even went to see the midwife who told me there was no signs of the baby being ready to come and that everything seemed normal, so I was completely shocked when I realised what was happening.

“My partner can’t stand One Direction but we both actually quite liked the name Harry.

“Eventually we decided it was more sentimental to name him after Pete’s grandad. We could have gave him that as a middle name, but had already decided on Christopher.”

Sarah assumed that the baby was pressing on to her bladder and she had never experienced her waters breaking with her first child so was completely oblivious.

She had no idea that her constant need for the bathroom was the beginning of her six hour labour.

Sarah, from Glebe in Washington, said: “My aim in the pregnancy was to get past seeing One Direction so I feel like I've achieved that even though Thomas cut it very close.

“I keep thinking that he must really like One Direction’s songs and that’s why he came early, he just wanted to be out and to listen to them and party with us.

“The rest of my family seem to disagree and say that Thomas obviously mustn’t have been able to stand the racket any longer!

“I can’t wait to be able to tell Thomas about his dramatic arrival. I’ll definitely be making him listen to all of One Direction’s songs when he is old enough.

“Even if he doesn’t like them, I’m sure his big sister will make sure that he knows all of the songs off by heart!”

Baby Theo Horan Gets Christened Today!

Being a member of One Direction is bound to take up practically all of your spare time – but Niall Horan has still got time to be an ‘amazing’ godfather.

The Irish singer has been touring the world since the start of this year with the 1D lads – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – and when they’re not on stage they’re working new music, promoting or attending glitzy showbiz awards bashes.

But when Niall was asked to be the godfather of his brother Greg and his wife Denise’s little baby boy Theo, he jumped at the chance.

‘Niall dotes on Theo and sent gifts home for him while on tour,’ a source told The Sun.

‘He surprised his brother Greg and (sister in law) Denise with a beautiful crib for Theo soon after he was born and loves spoiling him.’

Theo, now three months, is being christened today, Nov 9th and Niall is making a special trip back home to Mullingar to be there.

Zayn & Perrie Are Proud Parents!

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards have become proud parents for the first time.

The One Direction heartthrob and the Little Mix singer have expanded their family with the addition of an adorable furry feline friend.

Introducing their new cat, Prada, via the official Little Mix Twitter page, the cute couple looked utterly besotted as they posed for a selfie with their purr-fect pet.

Writing alongside the snap, they said: 'Say hello to the new member of the family, Prada 🙂 Perrie&Zayn <3.'

The loved-up couple, who got engaged in August, then posted a short Vine video of Perrie playing with little Prada, writing: 'DespicableMeMoment She's so fluffy I'm gunna die! 😀 <3.'

Perrie and Zayn - both 20 - recently reunited after One Direction's epic Take Me Home world tour drew to a close earlier this week.

And the blonde singer admitted she and her boyband beau have been so busy with their respective music careers that they have had no time to plan their impending nuptials.

She told The Sun: 'Zayn and I have had no time to start properly planning. The engagement kind of just happened and then we’ve been away from home all year. But, put it this way: I don’t want to be engaged for 50 years. We’ll get there soon.'

And the Geordie beauty explained she has already asked her Little Mix bandmates, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, to be her bridesmaids.

She said: 'It’s going to be a massive circus. I actually wanted to have quite a small wedding, but then all the girls in my family are desperate to come and would like to be bridesmaids too.

'I realise my wedding is every journalist’s dream. It’s going to be like the movie '27 Dresses' where the bride has like a billion bridesmaids.'

It was recently claimed Perrie and Zayn are hoping to marry in June 2014 and are considering a number of venues, including Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin - where David and Victoria Beckham tied the knot in 1999 - and Skibo Castle in Scotland, where Madonna and Guy Ritchie married in 2000.

Which 1D Boy Will Have A Baby First

One Direction have discussed who they think will be the first member to have children.

Despite Zayn Malik's recent engagement to Perrie Edwards, they believe it will be Niall Horan.

When asked by Heat who will be the first to have children, Liam Payne replied: "Niall - he'll surprise us!"Louis Tomlinson then added: "Niall often makes decisions and regrets them and tries to weave his way out of them.

"We can imagine in ten years, him being like, 'Well, I married this woman, I don't really know what happened'."
