One Direction's management has reportedly hired a full-time chef to join the band's 'Take Me Home' world tour, to ensure they have a healthy diet.
The Mirror reports that Sarah Nicholas, founder of Sarah's Kitchen, will accompany the five-piece on their international trips in order to prepare nutritious meals for them.
Bosses have apparently brought Nicholas on board in order to ensure Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik eat healthily during the rigorous tour.A source told the newspaper: "Sarah worked with the guys on their last tour and became like a surrogate mum for them all, particularly Harry. She tries to offer the boys their favourite foods but healthier versions of them, using natural, often organic ingredients. They particularly like Mexican food.
"With One Direction's hectic schedule and gruelling lifestyles, it's essential they eat properly and start looking after themselves.
"This basically means Sarah has been charged with getting more fruit and veg down them, and staving off colds as much as possible. They're currently drinking loads of smoothies."
The band are currently on the UK leg of their 118-date tour, which continues until October.
